Ledford, James Anthony "Jim"

James "Jim" Anthony Ledford, 57, of Manchester (Ohio), passed away on Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004.

Jim was born in Hiawassee, Ga., on Nov. 18, 1946. He was a graduate of Green High School Class of 1965, and retired after 29-plus years service at Good year Tire & Rubber Co. in 1993.

Jim was preceded in death by his father, Maurice Hix Ledford, and mother-in-law, Judy Rae Huth. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Kris (nee Huth); mother, Ola Led ford; father-in-law, Ed Huth; children, Tony, Tracy (Kevin), Emily, Jesse, and Jaci; grand children, Jessica, Allison, Nicklas, and Zachary; and many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2004, at the Schermesser Fu neral Home in Green, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (Route 619), with Rev. Pat Garrett officiating. Calling hours will be Wednesday, 5 to 8 p.m. Interment at East Liberty Cemetery.

Ola Ledford (Ledford)

Mrs. Ola L. Ledford, age 82 of Blue Ridge, GA (formerly of Hiawassee, GA) passed
away on June 28, 2012 following a period of declining health. She was born to
the late Willard and Myrtle C. (Bradley) Ledford on January 07, 1930 in
Hiawassee, GA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Maurice Ledford;
son, James Anthony Ledford; sisters, Reba Cody, Eunata Chastain, Christine Orr
and Brenda Meadows. She is survived by brother and sister-in-law, Hayes and Jane
Ledford, of Hayesville, NC; Gene Ledford, of Portsmouth, VA; sister, Linda
Garrett, of Hayesville, NC; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a
number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held on
Wednesday, July 04, 2012 at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Banister Funeral Home
with Rev. Pat Garrett, and Rev. Jimmy Rogers officiating. Music was provided by
the Cody Family. Pallbearers were: Hayes Ledford, Kevin Ledford, Jesse Ledford,
Tony Ledford, Jim Orr and Jeff Garrett. Interment was in Lower Bell Creek
